Actaprint Environmental Policy March 2024
The Environmental Policy of Actaprint (“the Company”) is to ensure so far as it is reasonably practicable that its operations will be carried out with a commitment to protecting and enhancing the environment.
As an office we strive for excellence in every aspect of our business we are committed to minimising the environmental impacts of the business operation.
Our stated aims are to:
- Aim to continuously improve our environmental performance.
- Where possible we will use recycled or ecologically friendly paper.
- We will use ‘waste’ paper for notepads unless confidentiality may be compromised.
- Reduce our consumption of resources and improve the efficiency of those resources by printing double sided where practicable.
- Manage waste generated from my business operations according to the principles of reduction, re-use and recycling
- Recycle all paper products, ink or toner cartridges.
- Comply as a minimum with all relevant environmental legislation as well as other environmental requirements.
- Replacing our Vehicle with an electric Van in the next 5 years
- Investing in the Plant a Tree Project 60 Trees will reduce our Carbon by 1 tonne every year, plus project invests into the Rainforest protecting land giving further emission saving. If we invest every other year for the next 6 years 3 tonnes of Carbon will reduce our carbon total each year.
- Ask our suppliers and delivery vans to provide us with their report on how they are reducing Carbon Emissions to report into our carbon emissions.
- Make sure all suppliers supply us details on their carbon emissions
- Ensure our energy suppliers are using 50% renewable energy
- Ensure we do not use single use plastic, within the organisation.
- Continue to measure our Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions in accordance with GHG protocols and improve year on year until we are Net Zero in 2044.
This Environmental Policy Statement will be regularly reviewed and updated as necessary. The management team endorses these policy statements and is fully committed to their implementation.
